UI/UX has been one of the highest-paid jobs for 2023
User interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design are critical components of digital product development. UI/UX design is the process of creating intuitive and visually appealing digital interfaces that provide users with seamless experiences.
The goal of UI/UX design is to ensure that a product is not only functional but also easy to use and visually engaging.
UI design deals with the overall look and feel of a product, including its layout, color schemes, and typography, while UX design focuses on the user's journey and interaction with the product, ensuring that the experience is both efficient and enjoyable. A well-executed UI/UX design can make a significant difference in a product's success, as it can influence user satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

Mary Lusenie, a data and insight manager at Purposeful.
She employs technical expertise to raise girls' voices through girl-led research. With a focus on gathering insights into the lived experience of adolescent girls, Mary has developed monitoring and learning tools that capture key components of program participation and content across the program team. These tools enable the capture of girls' stories and lived experiences, which, in turn, provide critical insights that inform Purposeful's work on adolescent girls.
The insights garnered from Mary's work have positioned Purposeful to engage in relevant discussions on gender policies pertaining to girls, both in and out of school, such as the ban on pregnant girls attending school and radical inclusion policies.
Mary's role at Purposeful serves as a great mentoring opportunity for girls, and her technical expertise is essential to the success of the organization's efforts to amplify the voices of adolescent girls.
